Lukas Klose

Lukas created Dem² after more than a decade of changing how large organizations make and carry out decisions.

He learned it inside Electronic Arts first. As Director of Web Publishing, he built the project management office that ran multi-million-dollar portfolios, and in 2012 he led the department’s transformation. Since then he has worked with more than 100 organizations across North America, including the Royal Bank of Canada, HSBC, WorkSafeBC and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

He leads the Agile Leadership Program at UBC’s Sauder School of Business, where he teaches practitioners and managers every year. He is the author of Scrum Beyond Teams (Scrum Alliance, 2026).

Dem² brings reliability engineering, mission command, lean and systems thinking together into a diagnostic for how an organization makes and carries out decisions under uncertainty.

He also leads Klose Coaching, Dem²’s implementation partner.
